Our Origins

Eco-Coach was founded by Anca Novacovici in order to promote environmental awareness and provide businesses and individuals with services and tools that would make the transition to a more sustainable way of living and working easier.  Anca started Eco-Coach in early 2006 because of her passion for the environment and sustainability, her experience in management consulting, and her interest in green, healthy buildings and interior spaces. Anca is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional and sits on the Board of the Green Building Institute. She has co-authored two books, Sustainability 101: A Toolkit for Your Business and DC Metro Area Green Career and Jobs Guide.
